ITI Energy commercialises intellectual property for the gasification of waste to energy via the formation of long term partnerships with renewable energy project developers, waste management companies and international power groups.

ITI’s intellectual property addresses two of the world’s major environmental concerns 1) Generation of clean energy and 2) The reduction of landfill waste.

The company’s patented gasification technology, developed by Newcastle University, produces a clean synthetic gas, which is capable of running an engine for electricity generation.  It can cope with difficult feedstock, such as pelletised municipal waste or contaminated and virgin wood.

ITI is working with waste companies looking to reduce their environmental impact while turning a major cost centre (landfill charges) into a profit centre, large electricity users such as chemical plants looking for an efficient energy source, and international power companies as part of their clean energy strategy.
