We are highly selective in which businesses we back. Next Wave invests in established SMEs which are committed to building the low carbon economy.

Our principal focus is on equity investments between £2,000,000 and £10,000,000 across the business services (particularly digital), consumer services and products and renewable energy sectors.

We look for quality management teams with a strong track record, a well formulated strategy and the ambition to grow their company.

Businesses we back have positive earnings at the time of investment achieving at least a run-rate EBITDA of £1,000,000.

We invest primarily in UK-based businesses, although will consider opportunities to acquire European enterprises.

We recognise that few companies are perfect. We look to generate value from investments by identifying development potential and actively shepherding the business to success.
