NWP invests £2-10 million growth capital in SMEs in the business services, consumer and environmental sectors in the UK and Northern Europe.

NWP targets companies that generate £5-50 million revenue and have demonstrable and sustainable profitability. We invest in four types of opportunities:

(i) Owner manager businesses: growth capital and guidance to transform a business from an owner-managed entity to a professionally run market leader.

(ii) Non-core corporate carve-outs: acquiring non-core divisions from large corporate vendors and working with highly incentivised management to stimulate cultural change and drive growth.

(iii) Secondary growth capital: investment in, or acquisition of, successful businesses whose shareholders, whether private or institutional are unable to fund the next phase of growth.

(iv) Outstanding entrepreneurial talent: putting growth capital to work backing exceptional management teams to exploit interesting market and business opportunities in segments where NWP’s network and operational expertise can create superior returns.
